I believe we inherit stories and the stories we are told about pregnancy, birth, and labor are no different.

What if the story in our culture about birth & the postpartum period was one of empowerment and confidence instead of fear and pain? I believe every birthing person and their growing family should feel as empowered as possible during their pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. I believe much of that empowerment comes from childbirth education, informed consent prenatally, constant physical and emotional support during labor and a solid plan for postpartum care and support.

I believe our bodies hold an innate ability to birth healthy babies AND healthy mothers.

Every family is different and has different needs. I don’t subscribe to one way of birthing but rather work with you to make a plan, meet your needs and do my best to help you feel empowered on this journey.
