Birth & Postpartum Support Services
Philosophy
I believe mothers on the birth continuum need and want to be seen.
To be seen fully in the grief and glory, expansion and contraction, clarity and chaos. I believe mothers and their families deserve to be seen. I hope to be that witness with nonjudgmental eyes and a wide open heart. Feeling seen, feeling held will lead to a sense of empowerment. In addition, I believe empowerment comes from caregivers and providers trusting women, childbirth education, informed consent prenatally, constant physical and emotional support during labor and a solid plan for postpartum care and support.
I believe our bodies hold an innate ability to birth healthy babies AND healthy mothers.
Every family is different and has different needs. I don’t subscribe to one way of birthing but rather work with you to make a plan, meet your needs and do my best to help you feel empowered on this journey.
